ENGAGE GROUPS

Have an interest in gaining God’s heart for the world’s vulnerable children?

What is the purpose of Engage Groups?

An Engage Group is an instructor-led discussion group designed to raise awareness, stir compassion, and introduce RiverCross’s BRIDGE model of trauma-informed care and resiliency strengthening.

When & where do they meet?

RiverCross hosts four Engage Group cohorts annually. Each cohort launches in the first month of each quarter, so January, April, July & October. Each cohort meets weekly on Zoom for about an hour over a 5-week period. Each session is moderated by a RiverCross Trainer.

What is the format of the discussions?

Each week will send you an episode our our audio drama, Bridge to Freedom. Prior to your weekly group meetup, set aside ~25 minutes to listen to the episode. Then gather with your group at the specified time for a one-hour moderated discussion.

Who should attend a cohort?

Cohorts are open to anyone with a heart for vulnerable children and a desire to make a meaningful impact. Past attendees have included child counseling & education professionals, NGO program managers, church leaders, non-profit & ministry volunteers, and other concerned Christians.

Is there a cost?

Engage Groups are complimentary, but we do invite you to make a $100 donation, or become a monthly partner to support training for leaders and caregivers around the world.

Do you host private cohorts?

Yes. For churches, schools or other organizations who have five or more individuals that would like to attend, we will tailor a cohort specifically for your group at a mutually agreeable time. We request a $500 donation for private cohorts. Please email Devon Tarr at dtarr@rivercrossglobal.org to coordinate.
