RiverCross doesn’t replace these leaders. We equip them with Christ-centered, trauma-informed training and story-based resources, so they can lead safe, relational RiverCross Clubs where children heal, build resilience, and discover they are loved, treasured, and never alone.
Meet Tapiwa
Social worker. Facilitator. Partner.
Tapiwa knows what it means for a child to carry hardship, because he carried it himself. Today he volunteers at Daniel Academy in Zimbabwe, where he leads a RiverCross Club using the Bridge to Freedom audio drama.
“They are learning to dream again,” he says of the children in his Club.
This August, Tapiwa helped lead a training that equipped 23 new caregivers to start Clubs in their own communities.
