Partners in Healing and Hope
RiverCross partners with trusted local organizations to equip their teams, strengthen their programs, and bring Christ-centered, trauma-informed care to children in distress.
WHO OUR PARTNERS ARE
A Community of
Shared Mission
The RiverCross Partner community is made up of churches, schools, and nonprofit organizations across Africa who are implementing RiverCross programs in their own contexts.
Through ongoing training, mentoring, and shared learning, RiverCross equips Partners to integrate trauma-informed, Gospel-centered care into everything they do—helping children affected by adversity heal and thrive in the love of Jesus.
This growing network includes our demonstration and learning site in Zimbabwe where programs are modeled, measured, and refined before scaling across the continent.
HOW PARTNERS BEGIN
Every Partnership Begins with Discovery
The first step toward partnership is participating in a Discovery Group—a five-week online discussion series that introduces your team to the Bridge to Freedom audio drama and explores how RiverCross might serve your mission.
Discovery Groups create space for your staff to experience how the RiverCross approach brings hope and wholeness to children and caregivers who have faced adversity. These groups will help you:
– Experience the RiverCross model firsthand.
– Reflect on trauma-informed care through a biblical lens.
– Explore whether RiverCross is a good fit for your organization.
After Discovery, your team can determine the best next steps—whether that’s attending a RiverCross Africa Summit or pursuing an Alliance Partnership through a Training-of-Trainers (ToT) workshop.
We invite interested organizations to join our quarterly RiverCross Gathering, a one-hour online space for Partners and Advocates to connect, learn, and pray together.
RiverCross training is fee-based on a cost-sharing model, ensuring sustainability while keeping our program accessible for organizations of every size. Each prospective Partner must also submit a Child Protection Policy for review and approval before training begins, reflecting our shared commitment to safeguarding children.
HOW PARTNERS BEGIN
Equipping Partners to Multiply Healing
Our goal is to see every partner organization helping children thrive within its own community and culture. RiverCross walks alongside our partners through every stage of growth—equipping them to lead from strength and sustainability. We provide:
TRAINING
Immersive workshops that prepare Partners to implement RiverCross Clubs and integrate trauma-informed care.
COACHING & MENTORING
Ongoing guidance to help Partners train Facilitators, measure progress, and deepen impact.
SHARED LEARNING
Feedback and collaboration across countries and sectors so that innovation flows in both directions.
“RiverCross gave us tools that fit seamlessly into our ministry. We didn’t need to start a new program—we could go deeper with what God had already called us to do.”
—Partner Leader, Uganda
LEVELS OF PARTNERSHIP
A Scalable Model for Growth
RiverCross partnerships grow as organizations deepen their engagement and capacity to implement trauma-informed, Christ-centered care. Each level reflects both readiness and reach—and all play a vital role in helping children heal and communities flourish.
Alliance Partners
Established organizations equipped to scale with certified Trainers.
Their staff has certified Trainers, trained by RiverCross, who equip their own Facilitators to lead RiverCross Clubs within the organization. Alliance Partners received dedicated field support and represent large-scale implementation and multiplication.
Fellowship Partners
Organizations leading RiverCross Clubs with certified Facilitators
Their staff have completed Facilitator Training and now lead RiverCross Clubs anchored by RiverCross audio dramas. Fellowship Partners receive resource access and group coaching as they build capacity and discern readiness for deeper partnership.
Community Partners
Organizations beginning the journey.
These Partners are discerning fit through Discovery Groups, Gatherings, and Summit participation. They are not yet implementing RiverCross Clubs but are building relationship, vision, and readiness for future Facilitator Training or re-engagement.
